Job Description

• Join a 9-man multi-specialty group with 2 gastroenterologists; one is looking to retire in about 5 years.
• Work in a clinic that is about 14,000 sq ft with several satellite offices that are visited 3-5 times per month, with a primary focus on the Topeka clinic.
• Each physician currently performs about 200 procedures per month and sees 20-25 patients per day.
• Perform scopes in the Endoscopy Center located across the hall from the clinic (owned by a physician and Am Surg) in the same building.
• Advanced procedures are done at St. Francis Medical Center; ERCP is preferred, and EUS is not mandatory but would be an asset.
• Call is 1:3 for office, with no GI ER call; will rotate with internal medicine for ER call once every 2-3 months for 24 hours.
• Can have an academic appointment at the University of Kansas as long as they have their time in the office.
