Join our team as an Adult Reconstructive Surgeon in Waterloo, Iowa, located 55 miles from Cedar Rapids. This position offers J1 and H1 visa sponsorship.
Job Description
- Full-time, permanent position in Orthopedic Surgery - Adult Reconstructive Surgery
- Efficient, well-supported clinic
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Call coverage with work/life balance
- 204-bed hospital, Level 3 trauma center with established Hospitalist team
- 12-bed ICU with intensivist
- Support from a full range of dedicated specialists and subspecialists
- Excellent OR access with experienced staff
- Ambulatory surgery center for outpatient procedures available
- Onsite physical therapy, full-scale diagnostic laboratory, and imaging services including MRI and CT
Responsibilities
- Rewarding mix between outpatient, inpatient, and surgery
- Flexible work week with built-in surgery days at hospital and ASC
- General orthopedic surgery with opportunity to build in sub-specialty interests
- Full range of clinical services including fracture management, total hips & knees, upper & lower extremities, trigger finger & carpal tunnel release
- In-office procedures include injections, casting, suture removal, fluid withdrawal from joints
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
