    Join our team for a Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgery opportunity in Abilene, TX, located 180 miles from Dallas, TX, with a regional draw of 400,000 people.

    Job Description

    • Full-time, permanent position

    • Loan assistance available
    • $681,000 base salary guarantee
    • BC/BE Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeon needed to practice at the largest regional medical center within a 150-mile radius
    • Practicing and experienced physicians as well as fellows will be considered. Must be licensed in Texas or eligible
    • Hospital call will be shared with 2 other CVT Surgeons
    • Full range adult cardiac, vascular, and thoracic practice
    • Two new hybrid ORs and dedicated CV ORs

    Compensation Package

    • Annual base salary guaranteed at $681,782 for the initial 18 months + lucrative incentive program
    • Initial three-year contract term
    • Sign-on bonus ($25K)
    • Relocation & house hunting assistance (up to $20K)
    • Potential student loan repayment
    • Potential monthly training stipend (up to 24 months)

    • $2,000 Texas license fees reimbursement
    • Malpractice coverage would begin the first day and includes tail coverage for tenure at HMC ($1,000,000 & $3,000,000 policy limits)
    • Continuing Medical Education - $5,000 per year and five paid days per year
