Join our team for an exciting opportunity in Springfield, MO, as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery. This position offers a great rate of pay along with housing, airfare, and rental car/mileage.

Job Description

• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including call (in-house, average 5 calls/night, 1:4 ratio)
• Provide OR coverage
• Clinic hours are Tuesday to Thursday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, seeing roughly 8-10 patients per day
• Conduct history and physicals (H&P) for patients
• Manage up to 15 patients per shift
• Collaborate with a staff of 2 RNs and 1 MA
• Required skills include general CV/Thoracic surgery (both open and endoscopic), evaluation and management of acute volume/blood pressure issues, central line and arterial line insertion, PA catheter insertion, and IABP insertion

Requirements

• Missouri license
• DEA certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• EVH experience
