Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is working with a hospital in Amarillo, Texas to hire Occupational Therapists. • Work within a hospital setting
• Help patients regain as well as maintain the skills they need to live and work independently
• Provide OT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines
• Require effective communication skills for working with patients, their families, and other caregivers
• May be asked to delegate and supervise occupational therapist assistants

Contract Details:

• $1,540 - $1,713 per week
• 12-week contract with possibility of extension
• Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals

Requirements:

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Texas
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel
