Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is working with a hospital in Amarillo, Texas to hire Occupational Therapists. - Work within a hospital setting
- Help patients regain as well as maintain the skills they need to live and work independently
- Provide OT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines
- Require effective communication skills for working with patients, their families, and other caregivers
- May be asked to delegate and supervise occupational therapist assistants
Contract Details:
- $1,540 - $1,713 per week
- 12-week contract with possibility of extension
- Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals
Requirements:
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Texas
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel
