Join our client's team as an On-Call Hospice RN, providing compassionate care to hospice patients and their families in New Jersey. This role involves conducting assessments, coordinating care, and offering support to ensure a high standard of hospice services.

Job Description

• Conduct assessments and follow the established care plan for hospice patients.
• Administer medications and document treatments accurately.
• Communicate with healthcare teams and families to coordinate care and address patient needs.
• Provide patient and family education on care plans and medication use.
• Maintain detailed and timely patient records.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families, fostering independence and self-direction.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Experience: 1+ years in adult, pediatric, or medical/surgical clinical care (hospice experience preferred).
• Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey; PA licensure if practicing in PA.
• Skills: Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.

Compensation

• $53/hour
