    Physician Assistant - Pain Management

    Our client, a leading high-volume pain management clinic in Massachusetts, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) Pain Management. This is a fast-paced, supportive, and growth-oriented practice that specializes in the development of an individualized and compassionate approach to treating acute and chronic pain using leading-edge and minimally invasive procedures. Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join the team of two DOs and two PAs. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing treatments, injections, and chronic pain procedures, managing medication refills, and building long-term patient relationships.

    Job Description

    • See 25-30 patients daily
    • Provide treatments, injections, and chronic pain procedures
    • Manage medication refills
    • Build long-term patient relationships (many patients are longstanding)
    • Participate in structured onboarding with 1 week initial training and ongoing shadowing
    • Gradually ramp up to full schedule with individualized training pace
    • Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
    • Schedule: 40 hours per week, with no call, no rounding, and no in-house patients

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
    • Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Massachusetts
    • 1-2 years of experience in pain management or a related field
    • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Experience with chronic pain management and interventional procedures
    • Knowledge of pain management medications and dosing
    • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)
    • Certification in pain management or a related field
    • DEA license (reimbursement under consideration)
