Job Description:

• Creates an optimal environment for the Medical Laboratory personnel to provide quality patient care.
• Serves as Assistant to the Laboratory Information System Manager.
• Assists in all aspects of implementing and maintaining the Laboratory Information system.
• Provides the technology, supplies, policies, and procedures for quality work.
• Serves as an interface with administration and clients.
• Assists the Section Head in assuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements set forth by TMH, TJC, and CAP.

• Medical Lab Section Head

• None

Requirements:

• Required Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technician program.
• Required Experience: None required
• Required Certification/License/Registry: State of Florida technician license in microbiology, serology, clinical chemistry, and hematology.
