Speech Therapist

Location: Tallahassee, Florida

Job Description:

• Deliver safe and competent Speech Therapy as ordered by a physician.
• Plan, organize, and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Speech therapy.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Supervise the work of support personnel.

Reports To:

• Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Manager

Supervises:

• Home Health Aide

Requirements:

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in communicative disorder/speech-language pathology from an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) -accredited educational program.
• One (1) year of relevant job-related experience.

Certifications:

• Current Florida Speech Therapist license. Provisional license may be accepted.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited instructor from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Current Florida class "E" driver license.

Additional Criteria:

• Must provide a seven (7)-year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles with no more than six (6) points and no indication of poor driving habits.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Additional Information:

• Use of personal vehicle(s) required. Vehicle owner must maintain adequate insurance coverage for personal vehicle(s) used in conjunction with duties.
• Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) will reimburse the business use of personal vehicle(s) in accordance with procedures defined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
