Location: Corsicana, Texas

Job Description:

• Provide professional services to residents of skilled nursing facilities.
• Offer medical and procedural consultation in compliance with Facility policies and Federal, State, and Local laws.
• Advise the Facility Administrator on concerns and opportunities regarding the Facility's services.
• Develop or procure resident care programs, medical equipment, and support staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Medical Director Services for 8 hours per month.
• Be available to the facility 24/7 for emergencies.
• Attend QA and/or QAPI monthly meetings at least 10 months of the year.
• Assist in developing clinical pathways to improve resident care.
• Support facility marketing efforts as requested.
• Ensure the highest quality of care with other attending facility staff.

Contract Details:

• This position is a 1099 Contractor role.
• Remote work with a required visit to the facility at least once per month.
