1099 Medical Director/Attending Physician

Medical Director

This position is remote with a required visit to the facility several times a month. The facility is located in Pontiac, Illinois. The Physician shall provide professional services to residents of skilled nursing facilities as directed by Tapestry from time to time.

Job Description

• Provide Medical Director services for 8 hours per month
• Offer medical and procedural consultation for residents of the facility in accordance with all applicable facility policies and Federal, State, and/or Local laws, rules, and regulations
• Advise the Facility Administrator of concerns and opportunities regarding the facility's scope of services and the need to develop or procure future resident care programs, medical equipment, and its professional and support staff
• Be available to the facility 24/7 for emergencies
• Attend QA and/or QAPI monthly meetings at least 10 months of the year
• Assist in the development of clinical pathways designed to improve care of residents
• Assist the facility in marketing efforts as requested
• Collaborate with other attending physicians to ensure the highest quality of care to the residents and patients

This will be a 1099 Contractor role.
