1099 Medical Director/Attending Physician

Medical Director

Location: Lake Maccamaw, North Carolina

Job Description:

• Provide professional services to residents of skilled nursing facilities as directed by Tapestry.
• Offer Medical Director Services for 8 hours per month.
• Provide medical and procedural consultation in compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
• Advise the Facility Administrator on services, care programs, medical equipment, and staffing needs.
• This is a 1099 Contractor role.

Responsibilities:

• Be available to the facility 24/7 for emergencies.
• Attend QA and/or QAPI monthly meetings at least 10 months of the year.
• Assist in the development of clinical pathways to improve resident care.
• Support facility marketing efforts as requested.
• Collaborate with other attending professionals to ensure high-quality care for residents and patients.
