Job Description

• Work location: Texas Health Denton, 3000 N I-35 Denton, Texas 76201
• Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Day Shift

Requirements

• Education:

  • Associate's Degree in Applied Science required, or completion of an accredited program in cardiovascular technology. Must obtain RCIS within 6 months of hire.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years work experience in invasive cardiology required.

• Experience:

  • 1 year of vascular or cardiac angiography preferred, or 2 years required with a high school diploma.

• Licenses and Certifications:

  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire required.
  • GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT only upon hire preferred.
  • RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to be obtained within 6 months if graduated from Cardiovascular Accredited Program upon hire required.
  • LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist if RCIS only upon hire preferred.
  • RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist for Electrophysiology Labs (EP) only upon hire required.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required.
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days required.
