The Civil Surgeon also performs medical examinations for immigration benefit applicants. Job Description

• Provide care for patients within standards of practice and regulations of government agencies
• Perform medical examinations for immigration benefit applicants
• Maintain a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Physician license in the state or the ability to obtain
• A minimum of four years of experience as a practicing physician
• Meet requirements of USCIS
• Ability to obtain DEA licensure
• Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
