    Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)

    Location: Prince William County, Virginia

We are an extremely service-oriented and client-focused non-profit organization supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Greater Prince William area. The Arc of Greater Prince William/INSIGHT, Inc. is currently seeking talented, experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses.

    Job Description:

    • Provide nursing services to all individuals in the INSIGHT program that require nursing support
    • Provide guidance and direction to staff on health issues
    • Provide health-related education to staff who support individuals enrolled in the INSIGHT programs

    Requirements:

    • Experience with intellectual and developmentally disabled individuals
    • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Valid license to practice as an LPN
    • Flexibility and excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent computer skills
    • Ability to pass and maintain required trainings such as CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration (MAT), Medicaid Waiver, Human Rights, OSHA, and Van Training
    • Criminal and Child Protective Services Background investigations conducted for all employees
    • Must meet State of Virginia employment eligibility requirements
    • Valid Virginia Driver's license and a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience in the United States
    • Driving record must meet agency's vehicle insurance carrier requirements
    • Ability to attend and pass onsite training classes within the first 30 days of hire
