Job Description

• Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, while maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.
• Assist residents with activities associated with daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, collecting specimens, applying dressings, walking and/or other exercise routines, and repositioning bedridden individuals, alone or with assistance.
• Assure physical comfort and mental well-being of all residents.
• Prepare residents for meals and snacks and assist with distributing food trays.
• Feed residents based on need and disability.
• Observe residents' conditions and document and report changes.
• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification: Current Nurse Aide Certification required.
• Experience: Prior long-term care or geriatric experience is helpful.
