Acute Care Surgicalist

Job Description:

• Enjoy the flexibility of a 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off schedule
• Work in a state-of-the-art surgical wing with a recent $7 million expansion featuring 5 Da Vinci Robots
• Employed (Perm) inpatient surgicalist model with all shift work and no additional call
• 14 days a month (flexible), 24-hour shifts

Requirements:

• Board-eligible or board-certified general surgeon
• Experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Rounding on patients and managing inpatient consults
• Covering emergent, acute care surgeries
• Collaborate with active hospitalist and intensivist programs for medical management

Additional Information:

• The hospital performs about 10,000 surgical procedures each year
• 400-bed hospital located a little more than an hour from a major international airport
• Compensation of at least $500K per year for full-time work
