Job Description

• Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment for all patients in accordance with the provider's training, licensing, and state regulation, at clinical sites where the clinician is assigned.
• Function as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, treating patients with eating disorders and related or comorbid medical conditions.
• Serve patients in a gender-inclusive environment of all ages and across all levels of care.
• Participate in quality and performance improvement activities.
• Provide direct psychiatric services through the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, including appropriate exam, work-up, and the prescription of medications and other interventions as indicated.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric complications of eating disorders, as well as intercurrent conditions, for patients at all levels of care.
• Develop the psychiatric treatment plans of all assigned patients and update with each visit.
• Liaise by telephone with each patient's ambulatory provider, at a minimum, at admission, discharge, and as needed during treatment in the context of significant concerns.
• Liaise with families of patients as indicated.
• Evaluate all patients on caseload within two weeks of discharge to assess stability for the next level of care and to complete a summary of all follow-up recommendations and a comprehensive discharge summary.
• Provide education about psychiatric complications and comorbidities of eating disorders to family and patients as needed.
• Participate in program development with site psychiatric leadership as interest and assigned.
• Maintain license and supervision requirements in association with on-site collaborating physician.
• Participate in on-call schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned or identified.

Requirements

• Duly certified and licensed Nurse Practitioner by appropriate national certifying body and state licensing agency.
• Appropriate State Licensure to practice independently in the field, with prescriptive authority.

Compensation

• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner: $120,230.00 - $191,950.00 annually (based on 1.0 FTE).
• Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for position.

Schedule

• Full Time 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week), working 4 days per week Monday - Friday.
• Exact shift schedule and days will be set in collaboration with Regional Medical Director, Site Director, and based on site needs.
