    Job Description

    • Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment for patients at clinical sites.
    • Function as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, treating patients with eating disorders and related or comorbid psychiatric conditions.
    • Serve patients in a gender-inclusive environment of all ages and across multiple levels of care.
    • Act as a resource to the medical and behavioral treatment teams around best-practice psychiatric care.
    • Provide direct psychiatric services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, including appropriate exam, work-up, and the prescription of medications and other interventions as indicated.
    • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric complications of eating disorders, as well as intercurrent conditions, for patients at different levels of care.
    • Develop the psychiatric treatment plans of all assigned patients and update with each visit.
    • Provide regular supervision to ancillary psychiatric providers.
    • Liaise by telephone with each patient's ambulatory provider at admission, discharge, and as needed during treatment.
    • Liaise with families of patients as indicated.
    • Evaluate all inpatient and residential patients on caseload within two weeks of discharge to assess stability for the next level of care.
    • Work with the Utilization Review team to provide psychiatric information to support peer-to-peer insurance reviews and determination of appropriate levels of care.
    • Participate in staff conferences and education, and serve on clinical committees as assigned.
    • Participate in program development with site/regional psychiatric leadership as interested and assigned.
    • Maintain license and uphold all board certification requirements.
    • Complete all documentation in a timely manner.
    • Participate in call schedule.
    • Perform other duties as assigned or identified.

    Requirements

    • Licensed as an MD or DO.
    • Board certified/board eligible in Psychiatry.
    • Possession of a current medical license in the state where the physician will practice.
    • Current unrestricted DEA license.
    • Completion of an accredited residency program in Psychiatry.

    Schedule

    • Full Time 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week), working 4 days per week Monday - Friday. Position is an onsite role based out of Seattle. Exact shift schedule and days will be set in collaboration with Regional Medical Director and Site Director based on site needs.

    Compensation

    Psychiatrist: $232,870.00 - $372,570.00 annually (based on 1.0 FTE). Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for position.
