    Job Description:

    • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies to promote health equity and a sense of belonging across the health system.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address disparities, promote cultural competence, and foster an inclusive environment.
    • Design, implement, and sustain system improvements and programs that achieve Mission, Strategy, and Health Equity goals.
    • Establish a collaborative, strategic partnership with the Executive Leadership Team and key stakeholders.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership linking equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives to the organization's overall performance.
    • Facilitate the development, execution, and communication of the health equity vision, value, and strategy.
    • Develop and lead strategic work for equity throughout the organization.
    • Improve patient care and health outcomes by advancing health equity and addressing health disparities.
    • Interface with team members and leadership to create alignment on equity strategies and plans.
    • Partner with key leaders to drive change initiatives and optimize the organization's equity programs.
    • Lead cross-functional work teams in the successful implementation of health equity initiatives.
    • Recommend goals, measures, and establish a reporting structure to document success.
    • Standardize and share workforce analytics to improve workforce representation.
    • Develop and maintain standardized processes to increase the capture and use of diversity data.

    Education and Experience:

    • Minimum 10 years of related experience, including community health, public sector health, or Human Resources.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience managing people.
    • Master's or Bachelor's degree in related fields preferred.
    • 5 years of relevant work experience in diversity, leadership development, and organizational development.
    • Strong experience in topics of inclusion, health equity, social determinants of health, and social justice initiatives.
    • Experience in change management, data analysis, organizational leadership, and community relations.
    • Ability to reach a broad audience, including executive and board leadership, staff, and community constituents.
    • Experience building a clear vision for the future of health equity within an organization and operationalizing it to achieve results.
