Psychotherapist

Advantage Health Care Centers is seeking a Psychotherapist for part-time hours, up to 20 hours per week. This position is employed and open to new graduates.

Job Description

• Provide patient-centered, team-based care within the PCMH model, coordinating with medical staff to address clinical, social, and behavioral health needs.
• Conduct intake evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Emphasize warm handoffs, continuity of care, and collaboration with families, caregivers, and community partners.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and facilitate referrals.
• Advocate for patients and participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.

Requirements

• New York State License in Psychology or New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
• Preferably 1 year experience supporting children and adults with autism and/or developmental disabilities.
• Familiarity with EHR preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Compensation

• Hourly rate between $65 and $75, depending on experience.
