    Cardiothoracic Surgeon

    The Iowa Clinic, P.C. is seeking a BE/BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our physician-owned and governed, multi-specialty organization!

    Job Description

    • Join a well-respected team of 2 surgeons (growing to 3!), 3 APPs, 2 Office Based RNs, and 4 Perfusionists
    • Comprehensive Cardiovascular team includes 20 Cardiologists and 4 Vascular Surgeons
    • CVS Co-management agreement with Iowa's largest health system
    • Established adult general Cardiothoracic Surgery Department with a recognized Structural Heart Program participating in TAVR and MitraClip; Maze procedures and Lead extraction
    • Two designated cardiac surgery ORs and access to two hybrid procedural rooms
    • Call 1:3
    • Research opportunities available
    • Teaching opportunities with residency program

    • Large referral base within clinic of over 270 multi-specialty providers in addition to an external referral base that includes 1.3 million
