Job Description

MHCGM's Child and Adolescent department is seeking candidates for an opportunity in our Child and Adolescent Program. We currently have openings on the Family Intensive Treatment Team, Level 2, and Level 3 Team.

Family Intensive Treatment Team: Seeking a master's level clinician to provide hybrid community-based/office/remote individual and family therapy. Clinicians support our most vulnerable populations in reaching their mental health goals via therapy and collaboration with community agencies. The position provides a flexible schedule, great benefits, rewarding work, and dedicated colleagues. Experience with children, teens, and families is a plus; strong work ethic; organization; and time management skills. Supervision hours towards NH licensure are provided at no cost. Full-time position.

Work on an outpatient treatment team to provide individual and family therapy.

Targeted care coordination.

Consultation with medication providers and clinical staff.

Willingness to learn state-of-the-art evidence-based practice.

Use of electronic medical records.

Interest in training in evidence-based practices focused on children, adolescents, and families.

Organizational skills.

Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile with liability insurance in the amount required by agency policy.

Master's degree in psychology, social work, rehab counseling, education/counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university is required.

An NH license is welcomed but not required as we can help employees obtain their license.

Assertive Community Treatment Team: Masters-level, licensed, or license-eligible (LICSW, LCMHC, MLADC, LADC) candidate needed to fill the full-time clinical position. A master's degree must be in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field. Experience working with co-occurring disorders/substance use disorders is a positive but not required. The candidate will provide in-person community and home-based treatment to clients 18 years and older, including mental health counseling, community-integrated therapy interventions, and case management (linkage to/consultation with community resources). We provide on-site training and licensure supervision, making the position available for anyone new to the field or experienced and looking to grow as a mental health professional. This position requires in-person work in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Requirements

60-credit master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field that includes an internship.

Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of NH (LICSW, LCMHC, MLADC, LADC).

Knowledge of the mental health and substance use fields.

Strong sense of teamwork.

Must hold a valid driver's license, an insured vehicle, and be able to demonstrate a "clean" driving record.

Self-starter, independent.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Compassion for and a desire to work with individuals who are seeking mental health services.

Key Responsibilities

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based practices to clients in the community and their homes.

Attend daily treatment team meetings.
-
Timely completion of assessments and documentation (e.g., progress notes, treatment plans, targeted case management plans, eligibilities).

Manage a caseload of roughly 12-16 clients.
-
Emergency room mental health assessments and triage.
-
Provide five weeks of after-hours on-call crisis services per year.
