Job Description

• Creates simulated conditions to observe the behavior of each client
• Formulates appropriate treatment plans that are sensitive to clients' cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs
• Administers treatment and tailors interventions as needed
• Suggests additional treatment by other professionals as required
• Operates within time, financial, and other resource constraints
• Remains abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices
• Advocates for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society

Requirements

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to act decisively and maintain client dignity
• Proven work experience as a BCBA or similar role
• Very strong interpersonal skills to build professional relationships with clients, families, and co-workers
• Excellent leadership and time management skills
• Adhere to ethical standards in HIPAA and the BCBA code of ethics
• Excited about the growth opportunities ahead
• Passion for research
• Ability to think outside the box to provide excellence in care

Education and Experience

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
• Licensed BCBA in the State of Michigan
