Job Description
- Creates simulated conditions to observe the behavior of each client
- Formulates appropriate treatment plans that are sensitive to clients' cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs
- Administers treatment and tailors interventions as needed
- Suggests additional treatment by other professionals as required
- Operates within time, financial, and other resource constraints
- Remains abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices
- Advocates for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society
Requirements
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to act decisively and maintain client dignity
- Proven work experience as a BCBA or similar role
- Very strong interpersonal skills to build professional relationships with clients, families, and co-workers
- Excellent leadership and time management skills
- Adhere to ethical standards in HIPAA and the BCBA code of ethics
- Excited about the growth opportunities ahead
- Passion for research
- Ability to think outside the box to provide excellence in care
Education and Experience
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
- Licensed BCBA in the State of Michigan
