Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Night Shift

The Peaks Care Center is looking for a passionate and dedicated Night Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team in bringing joy and care to the lives of our residents! This position is for full-time LPNs working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Job Description

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
• Provide care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and The Peaks standards.
• Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition on a daily basis.
• Assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.
• Complete accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, and documentation.
• Complete/receive accurate shift report.
• Complete timely rounds to check on the safety and security of residents.
• Maintain appropriate communication with physicians and families regarding changes in resident's condition.
• Order prescribed medications, supplies, and equipment as necessary, in accordance with established facility policies.
• Respond to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.
• Explain procedures and treatments to residents to gain trust and cooperation.
• Maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an LPN.
• Maintain a current unencumbered license to practice in the state of Colorado.
• One (1) year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Hourly Wage Range

$27.90 - $33.94 plus shift differentials. Application end date: 02/28/2025.
