Job Description
- AI-assisted documentation
- Modalities
- Therapeutic exercise
- Manual therapy
- Daily documentation in a team setting with the Physical Therapist
- Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups
- Read instructions from the Physical Therapist
- Work directly with the Physical Therapist to assist patients
- Complete administrative tasks, like scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
- Teach patients techniques like balance training
Requirements
- Graduate of an associate degree/two-year Physical Therapist Assistant Program approved by the Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapist Assistant Education
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Pennsylvania
- Indirect supervision license preferred but not required
- A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post-training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position
- A person who can meet the physical demand level of the position

Schedule

Physical Demand Capacity
Consistent with published industry PDC norms or minimally:
- Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance
- Lifting routinely loads of 5-35 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, shoulder to overhead
- Carrying routinely loads of 5-10 pounds for 40-50 feet
- Pushing routinely loads of 5-150 pounds on casters, runners, or pulleys
- Sustaining a grip routinely for 1-2 minutes of 40-50 pounds
- Guarding a lift load routinely of 120-140 pounds
