General Cardiologist

I am working with Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington, MA through Berkshire Health, and they are looking for some temporary General Cardiology coverage over the next several months.

Job Description

• Coverage needed from December ongoing
• Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday
• No call required
• Preference for a provider to work five days a week
• Minimum assignment length: 1-2 weeks a month for at least three months
• Mostly outpatient work, with occasional inpatient consult requests
• TEE required: must be able to perform an occasional Transesophageal Echocardiography
• Procedures include Transesophageal Echocardiography, Electrical Cardioversions, and Electrocardiograms
• Work alongside 8 Cardiologists in the group
• One Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be alongside the locum
• Adult and Geriatric patients only
• 60 days to privilege
• EMR: MediTech Expanse
• Compensation: $290-300 per hour with an 8-hour guarantee, Monday to Friday
