Hospitalist Opportunity

Locations: Athens, OH and Cambridge, OH

Job Description:

• Temporary Hospitalist coverage needed at OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital and Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center
• Shift times: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• 7 on 7 off coverage preferred, but will consider physicians for one week per month
• Night shifts are the biggest need

OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital, Athens, OH:

• 144 bed facility with 8 ICU beds
• Non-Designated Trauma Center
• 30K Annual ER Volume
• Procedures: Intubations (required) and Central Lines (preferred)
• Open ICU, Hospitalists respond to codes
• Double coverage during the day shift, single coverage at night
• Patient Load: 20-25 per team, 10-15 encounters per provider
• APP support, nightly admissions low to none
• Specialty Coverages: Cardiologist, Neurologist, OB, Pulmonology
• $220 per hour with a 12-hour guarantee

Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge, OH:

• 86 bed facility with 12 ICU beds
• Non-Designated Trauma Center
• 25K Annual ER Volume with 17 ER beds
• Procedures required: Intubation with assistance, Central line insertion, Vent management
• Open ICU, double coverage during the day, single coverage at night
• Patient Load: 15 per provider, 5-6 nightly admissions
• $220 per hour with a 12-hour guarantee

Requirements:

• Provider willing to work at both facilities is preferred
• Minimum assignment length: 7 consecutive shifts per month
