Anesthesiology Coverage

I am working with UPMC Chautauqua in Jamestown, NY through Premier Anesthesia, and they are looking for some temporary Anesthesiology coverage over the next several months.

Job Description

• UPMC Chautauqua, Jamestown, NY, 277 hospital beds
• Premier Anesthesia facility
• AYA Healthcare vendor management job
• This facility is looking for coverage starting February ongoing
• Coverage needed for the following stints over the next couple of months:
  • February 19th-26th
  • March 1st-8th
  • March 11th-22nd
  • March 25th-29th
• Candidates must be able to cover 1-2 of these stints to be considered for this need
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM with call
• Call is 1:3 (CRNA is in-house, MD is backup pager from hotel)
• Call is mainly to supervise but requires MDs who can do their own cases
• Cases: General, Endoscopy, and OBGYN
• EMR: EPIC
• Emergency privileges granted in 1-2 weeks

Compensation

• $350 per hour with an 8-hour guarantee Monday through Sunday
• $400 per night for call
• $420 per hour for any hour worked over the 8-hour guarantee Monday through Sunday or any hour worked in the facility while on call
