Job Title: Hospitalist

Location: Athens, OH and Cambridge, OH

Job Description:

• Provide temporary Hospitalist coverage at OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital and Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center.
• Shift times: 7a-7p and 7p-7a.
• 7 on 7 off coverage preferred, but will consider physicians available for one week per month.
• Night shifts are the biggest need at both facilities.
• Respond to codes and manage patient load with APP support.
• Day shift includes double coverage; night shift includes single coverage.

Facility Details:

OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital (Athens, OH):

• 144 bed facility with 8 ICU beds.
• Non-Designated Trauma Center.
• 30K Annual ER Volume.
• Open ICU with procedures including Intubations (required) and Central Lines (preferred).
• Patient Load: 20-25 per team, 10-15 encounters per provider.
• Specialty Coverages: Cardiologist, Neurologist, OB, Pulmonology.
• 60 days to privilege.

Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center (Cambridge, OH):

• 86 bed facility with 12 ICU beds.
• Non-Designated Trauma Center.
• 25K Annual ER Volume with 17 ER beds.
• Open ICU with required procedures: Intubation with assistance from RT, Central Line Insertion, and Vent Management.
• Preferred procedures: Chest Tube Insertion and Lumbar Puncture.
• Patient Load: 15 per provider.
• Nightly admissions: 5-6 per night.
• 2-3 weeks to privilege.

Compensation:

• $220 per hour with a 12-hour guarantee Monday through Sunday.
