Nursing Supervisor

Job Description

• Oversee the delivery of exceptional care to our residents
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care
• Monitor patient care plans and ensure adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care programs
• Supervise medication administration and treatments
• Assist in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
• Conduct regular patient assessments and address any concerns promptly
• Provide training to nursing staff on medical procedures and best practices
• Communicate with families and medical practitioners
• Communicate with local referral sources
• Attend committee meetings as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania nursing license (RN) in good standing
• Previous experience as a Nursing Supervisor or similar role preferred
• Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care systems
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations

This is a full or part-time 2nd shift position and is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package. It requires every other weekend and holiday. No on-call.

Experience

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• RN (Required)
