Turn your job into a career with EmpRes! Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a Certified Medication Assistant (MA-C) to administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records under the supervision of the Nurse.

Job Description

• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or other application, or administers medication, using specified processes
• Takes vital signs or observes resident to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report
• Documents reasons prescribed drugs are not administered
• Receives supply of ordered medications and apportions, mixes, or assembles drugs for administration to resident
• Records and restocks medication inventories

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant for one year
• Successful completion of training approved by the State for Certified Medication Assistants
• Must currently be certified as a Medication Aide (MA-C)
