Collaborating Physician, Family Medicine
Job Description:
- Work in conjunction with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages.
- Monitor and ensure high standards of patient care, adherence to medical protocols, and prescriptive regulation.
- Facilitate a collaborative and efficient clinical environment.
General Job Duties:
- Patient Care: None unless specified by the Chief Clinical Officer.
- Serve as a collaborating physician for nurse practitioners and physician assistants, providing clinical guidance.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all clinical practices comply with state and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies.
- Stay current with best practices, emerging research, and advancements in medical care.
- Mentor and support professional development of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare staff.
- Compliance with organization policies and procedures and required training.

Qualifications:
- Current Ohio license to practice medicine (MD or DO).
- Must be Board certified or provide a letter indicating qualification to sit for certification with an expectation of obtaining certification within one year.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or mentoring role.
