Job Description:
- Provide a full range of therapeutic services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrate accountability for program development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement.
- Handle and deliver medications as required for job responsibilities in the assigned work facility.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited therapy program with satisfactory clinical internships.
- Licensed by the State of South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
Special Skills:
- Ability to utilize therapy equipment in an outpatient rehabilitation setting for treatment and procedures.
Certifications:
- American Heart Association Healthcare provider course with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 calendar days of hire.
- BLS Recertification required every two years.
- ACLS preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Medium/Heavy: Frequent standing, sitting, and walking; occasional use of hands and fingers; frequent talking or hearing.
- Must exert 35 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 15 to 25 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
