Job Title: Physical Therapist

Job Description:

• Provide a full range of therapeutic services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Demonstrate accountability for program development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement.
• Handle and deliver medications as required for job responsibilities in the assigned work facility.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited therapy program with satisfactory clinical internships.
• Licensed by the State of South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.

Special Skills:

• Ability to utilize therapy equipment in an outpatient rehabilitation setting for treatment and procedures.

Certifications:

• American Heart Association Healthcare provider course with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 calendar days of hire.
• BLS Recertification required every two years.
• ACLS preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Medium/Heavy: Frequent standing, sitting, and walking; occasional use of hands and fingers; frequent talking or hearing.
• Must exert 35 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 15 to 25 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
