Job Description:
- Inpatient (10%) and outpatient (90%) clinical responsibilities
- Bread and butter surgical cases: General Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics, OB-Gyn, Optometry, Pediatric Dental, Endoscopy (pediatrics > age 2)
- Inpatient census: 34 patients per day
- Average # of admissions per day: 7-10 during the day/4 during the night

of surgical cases per month: approximately 175
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday with call beginning at 1500
- Schedule is 7 days on followed by 7 days off
- 24-hour call only on the weekend; shared with the CRNA
