Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner needed in Tucson, AZ. This position offers ongoing coverage while hiring, with a duration of 6 months to 1 year and a requirement of 10 shifts per month.

Job Description

• Board Certification: NNP Certified with related experience
• NRP required
• NNPs are in-house 24/7; Neonatologist is in-house from 8 AM to 5 PM and on call at night
• Cover NICU and attend high-risk deliveries
• Occasionally help with newborn nursery if they've already seen the baby; however, it's mostly the Neos covering well-baby
• Shift times: 7 AM to 7 AM
• Annual Births: 2,000
• Average Daily Census: 9.5 in the newborn nursery; 10.8 in the NICU
• Shift Responsibility: Deliveries, NICU, Newborn nursery, Consults
• EMR Type: Cerner, PremiEHR, and TPN
• NICU Level: II EQ; 15-beds
• License Requirement: Must be licensed in Arizona
• Privileges: 60 days, candidates with clean files preferred
