Job Description

• Execute therapeutic plans designed to help patients under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment, guide them through exercises, and engage them in activities crucial to their recovery and improvement.
• Contribute to the planning and selection of therapeutic activities tailored to the individual needs and interests of each patient.
• Regularly monitor and document the progress of patients, observing changes in performance and behavior.
• Educate patients and their families about the therapy process, the use of adaptive equipment, and home modifications.

Requirements

• Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license/certification in the state of practice.
