    Job Description:

    • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in an acute care setting.
    • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools: Onsite CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, EKG, and labs.
    • Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages.
    • Perform procedures including EKG and X-ray interpretation, abscess incision and drainage, infection management, reduction of dislocations, splinting of fractures, laceration repair, IV hydration, and medication administration.
    • Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team.
    • Communicate test results, follow-up care, and treatment plans.
    • Collaborate effectively with Physicians.
    • Work with an energetic, highly-trained support team, including shifts with a scribe.

    Requirements:

    • Board Certified (or Board Eligible) Physician Assistant.
    • Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess I&D.
    • Experience with reading diagnostic studies, including X-rays and EKGs.
    • 2+ years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care highly preferred.
    • ACLS and PALS Certification preferred.
