    Radiology Technician/GXMO

    Join our dynamic team as a Radiology Technician/GXMO in a full-time position at our Sharonville location. This role offers shifts from Monday to Friday between 7 AM and 7 PM, with rotating Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM. Enjoy great benefits while making a difference in patient care.

    Job Description

    • Perform radiological duties in compliance with x-ray department and legal requirements.
    • Help patients feel comfortable during the entire process.
    • Perform selected nursing and administrative/clerical duties that assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management under the direction of a physician.
    • Assist the physician in the examination of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties.
    • Interview patients, measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and record information on patients' charts.
    • Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
    • Be cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care.
    • Work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation, and commitment to quality patient care.
    • Maintain patient-related duties, medical record maintenance/documentation, and safety/environmental duties.

    Requirements

    • Graduation from Radiology Tech school and license in Ohio, or
    • Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Healthcare with GXMO certification, or
    • Certified Medical Assistant (MA).
    • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification.
    • Computer aptitude, CPR certification, EKG, injections, venipuncture.
    • Performance of common lab tests according to established CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy.
    • Prefer experience in Clinical Healthcare; experience required if MA.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform scans within the scope of licensure/certification and under supervision of provider; update patient records; keep patients calm and comfortable during scans.
    • Exhibit a professional image and behavior toward patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
    • Follow JCAHO and HIPAA protocols regarding patient information.
    • Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the treatment area.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of clean and sterile procedures in the use of medical equipment.
    • Exhibit dependability in areas such as attendance, punctuality, and timely performance of duties.
    • Demonstrate flexibility and/or initiative in seeking or accepting additional assignments.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in assisting with medical procedures on adults and children.
    • Skillfully and accurately administer child and adult medications/immunizations.
