    Electrophysiologist Cardiologist

    St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist Cardiologist to join our established team at Albany Associates in Cardiology (AAC), located in Albany, New York. We are looking for a motivated and skilled physician to contribute to our growing practice with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The position provides a great balance of hospital and clinic work, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive compensation.

    Job Description

    • Work Schedule: 50% office, 50% hospital; generally no split days (hospital or clinic, not both on the same day)
    • Procedure Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of experience in electrophysiology, including ablation and AFib management. Additional experience with Watchman procedures is a plus
    • Practice Setting: Work with a dynamic team of three EP Cardiologists, including Drs. Prieto, Phang, and Sosa Suarez
    • Call Schedule: General cardiology call with the AAC practice, once a month for evenings and weekends; no specific EP call
    • Office Coverage in Troy, Clifton Park, and Albany with opportunities to grow the practice in other regions
    • Flexible Scheduling: Option to have hospital and clinic days split or dedicate full days to either setting

    Requirements

    • Experience: At least 2 years of EP experience, including ablation and AFib procedures. Training in Watchman is beneficial. Lead/device extraction is preferred
    • Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality, team-oriented care

    Benefits

    • Competitive base salary with earning potential through RVU-based productivity incentives and quality performance bonuses
    • Starting Salary: $600,000 - $650,000
    • Starting Bonus: $50,000
    • Relocation Assistance: $25,000
    • Time Off: A tiered model starting at 30 days and increases with tenure up to 40 days annually
    • CME: $4,500 annually for continuing medical education
