Gastroenterologist

St. Marys Medical Group is seeking four Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologists to assist in building a new program within our well-respected medical group. This is a unique opportunity to build a thriving practice while benefiting from an established referral network.

The selected candidates will provide care in the outpatient clinic as well as a hospital consult service and have dedicated procedure days. Opportunities for teaching Internal Medicine residents also exist.

The schedule for this opportunity is Monday - Friday with on-call weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description

• Provide care in the outpatient clinic and hospital consult service
• Participate in dedicated procedure days
• Teach Internal Medicine residents
• Perform endoscopic procedures and outpatient consultations
• Provide inpatient gastroenterology consults at St. Marys Hospital
• Manage a broad spectrum of digestive disorders, including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and colorectal cancer screenings
• Opportunity to perform EGD, colonoscopy, polypectomy, dilation, PEG placement, and more
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine residents during inpatient consult rotations

Requirements

• Completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Two to four years of experience preferred; new graduates will also be considered
• License to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
