Neuroimmunologist/MS Specialist

Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a full-time Neuroimmunologist/MS Specialist to join our Hauenstein Neurosciences team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

As part of the nationally recognized Trinity Health Neuroscience Center, you'll have access to a wide range of subspecialty services, including General Neurology, Alzheimer's and Memory Disorders, Headache, Movement Disorders and Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromuscular (ALS and MD), Neuro-Palliative and Supportive Care, Neuropsychology, Stroke, and Neurocritical Care.

Our model of care is multi-disciplinary, which includes registered nurses (RN), licensed medical social workers (LMSW), physical, occupational, and speech therapists. These disciplines work collaboratively with providers to deliver the highest standard of clinical care, offering additional support outside of normal clinical practice, including access to dieticians, chaplains, and other supportive care.

Job Description

• Join a collaborative team of 75+ Physicians and Advanced Practice Professionals
• Play a key role in advancing our MS Center partnership as we work toward becoming an MS Center of Excellence
• Opportunity to participate in ongoing clinical trials and investigator-initiated research, with assistance from the Trinity Health Grand Rapids Clinical Trials Unit
• Engage in medical education through teaching opportunities within our neurology residency program

Requirements

• Fellowship trained in Neuroimmunology/MS
• Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 2 years of becoming board eligible
• State of Michigan license required at time of employment
• DEA license
• BLS Certification and maintain recertification
