By merging the strengths of community medicine such as convenient locations, personal relationships, and local support services with the expertise of university medicine and the resources of the National Cancer Institute-designated UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, we strive to provide exceptional care for our patients in both locations for hematology and oncology.

Job Description

• Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm, M-F work schedule (4 clinical days and 1 admin day)
• Patient Load: 14-16 patients/day
• Call Schedule: Low call volume with rotating schedule
• Research: Participate in clinical trials with support from dedicated Clinical Research Coordinators
• Support Team: MA, Oncology Nurse Services, and Nurse Practitioner

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $536,000-$722,000
• Incentive Pay: Opportunity to earn additional bonus based on productivity (10-20% of base salary)

Requirements

• Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license
• Successful candidate must have completed a residency program in Internal Medicine at an accredited institution and completed a medical fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment
• Candidates must be board certified within 2 years of appointment
