    Hematology and Oncology Physician

    UC Davis Cancer Care Network has established a partnership to deliver high-quality cancer care to the communities of Marysville and Cameron Park. By merging the strengths of community medicine such as convenient locations, personal relationships, and local support services with the expertise of university medicine and the resources of the National Cancer Institute-designated UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, we strive to provide exceptional care for our patients in both locations for hematology and oncology.

    Job Description

    • Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm, M-F work schedule (4 clinical days and 1 admin day)
    • Patient Load: 14-16 patients/day
    • Call Schedule: Low call volume with rotating schedule
    • Research: Participate in clinical trials with support from dedicated Clinical Research Coordinators
    • Support Team: MA, Oncology Nurse Services, and Nurse Practitioner

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Salary: $536,000-$722,000
    • Incentive Pay: Opportunity to earn additional bonus based on productivity (10-20% of base salary)

    Requirements

    • Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license
    • Successful candidate must have completed a residency program in Internal Medicine at an accredited institution and completed a medical fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology
    • Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
    • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment
    • Candidates must be board certified within 2 years of appointment
