Diagnostic Pediatric Radiologist
The UC Davis School of Medicine, Department of Radiology is actively recruiting for one full-time Diagnostic Pediatric Radiologist in the Professor of Clinical "X" Series or Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series, at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank (commensurate with experience and credentials).
Job Description
- Conduct substantial research; provide patient care; teach fellows, residents, and medical students; and perform public and University service.
- Teach fellows, residents, and medical students; provide patient care; contribute to scholarly activities; and provide public and University service.
- Clinical responsibilities include all areas of pediatric radiology (radiographs, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI).
- Clinical service coverage is divided between UC Davis Children’s Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
- Daily and call coverage is divided equally among all faculty within the division.
- Most teaching is conducted during daily read-out sessions with residents.
- Pediatric Radiology faculty also share in the division’s responsibility to deliver didactic and case-based conferences to Radiology residents and medical students rotating in Radiology.
- The group participates actively in multidisciplinary conferences.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree.
- Applicant must be fellowship trained in Pediatric Radiology or possess equivalent work experience and have a documented interest in research and teaching.
- Candidates must be licensed or be eligible for full licensure in the State of California, including eligibility obtained under a 2113 CA special permit.
- Expertise in most aspects of General Pediatric Radiology (excluding Neuroradiology, Interventional radiology, and Nuclear Medicine) is required.
- CAQ eligibility and an excellent track record in scholarly activities is preferred.
Benefits
- The salary range for this position is $425,000 - $525,000.
- This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan.
