Job Description

• The Cath Lab Tech, under the direction of the director or charge person, is responsible for monitoring procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies.
• The CVT ensures safe patient care and functions as a scrub assistant.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
• In lieu of the educational requirements, a minimum of five (5) years' experience.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (required within 12 months of hire) OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (required within 12 months of hire).
• FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) OR FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
