Patient Services Manager III - Emergency Department
Lead with purpose at the Holly Springs Emergency Department. The Rex Holly Springs Hospital Emergency Department provides a full range of emergency care to you and your loved ones. It is home to 24 patient beds, two major resuscitation rooms, and a full staff of emergency professionals. If you or your loved one needs a higher level of care, we can arrange a transfer to the right facility.
Job Description
- Provide day-to-day operational leadership for a busy Emergency Department, ensuring efficient workflows, effective staffing, and strong clinical outcomes.
- Oversee staffing and scheduling, manage budgets responsibly, lead accreditation survey readiness, and drive quality improvement initiatives while ensuring the highest level of patient care.
- Supervise large clinical units, ensuring that appropriate care and services are available to patients and families.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration in patient/client care planning.
- Create an environment conducive to recruiting and retaining staff.
- Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives that focus on identified patient safety or quality of care deficits.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and advocate for consumers within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Three (3) years of professional nursing in tertiary care and one (1) year of management experience in a specialty area.
- Professional certification relevant to Management, Leadership, or Clinical Area is required within the probationary period of employment for positions at Magnet Hospitals.
- BLS required.
Benefits
- Salary range: $47.90 - $68.86 per hour (Hiring Range).
- Full-time position with standard hours per week: 40.00.
