Job Description

• Direct and operate infection prevention programs, ensuring they align with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify, investigate, and monitor healthcare-associated infections and communicable diseases to protect residents and staff.
• Work closely with teams to create, implement, and sustain infection prevention strategies. Provide education and feedback to staff to promote a culture of safety.
• Conduct continuous staff development, training, and quality assurance performance improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to state, federal, and organizational standards.

Requirements

• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Infection Prevention (IP) Certification.
• At least 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong focus on infection prevention.
• Familiarity with the CDC's National Healthcare Safety Network and infection control protocols.
• A dedication to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
