Family Medicine Opportunity in Rural Upstate New York- Walton

Physician

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking an excellent physician for a clinic on the campus of a critical-access hospital, on the western edge of the Catskills, in beautiful Walton, New York. This traditional inpatient/outpatient practice is set in a friendly town where your patients are your neighbors. A strong sense of community is fostered and treasured. The primary care practice consists of family medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, and psychiatric nurse practitioners. Multiple outpatient specialties are available on-site. The practice is located adjacent to the hospital - a 25-bed medical and short-term rehab unit, with a 24/7 Emergency Department. Ancillary services available on-site include lab, cardiopulmonary, and imaging services. Both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, cardiac, and pulmonary rehab are available. An on-site outpatient pharmacy is also present. Job Description

• Provide comprehensive care in a traditional inpatient/outpatient practice
• Collaborate with family medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, and psychiatric nurse practitioners
• Utilize multiple outpatient specialties available on-site
• Participate in call approximately every two months for the primary care practice

Requirements

• Must be board eligible or certified
• Accepting J1 and H1B candidates
