    Mental Health Technician

    United Recovery Project is seeking a professional, dedicated, and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our outstanding MHT staff. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of mental health disorders and possess the skills and compassion necessary to work in this environment. We require that all applicants have the ability to pass a Level 2 government background check, hold a valid driver's license, and have experience working with individuals who have high acuity mental health disorders, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.     Job Description

    • Report on daily activities and behaviors of all patients.
    • Safely transport patients.
    • Complete intake paperwork.
    • Perform body and bag searches.
    • Light cleaning.
    • Ensure patient safety by being alert to potential hazards.
    • Provide structure, boundaries, and a warm and caring environment.
    • Work as part of a team to provide exceptional patient care.
    • Promote positive morale and maintain professional composure.

    Requirements

    • Valid and active driver's license is required.
    • Basic computer literacy required.
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health required.
    • KIPU EMR knowledge preferred.
    • Current CPR certification and First Aid preferred.
    • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
    • High school diploma or GED preferred.
    • Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check.

    Compensation
