Anesthesiologist Pain Management

Pinnacle Health Medical Services seeks Anesthesiologists Pain Management in Lititz, PA (multiple openings) to direct and plan the administration of anesthesia for assigned patients. This role involves reviewing pre-procedure testing, conducting preoperative evaluations, and developing plans of care. Responsibilities include documenting all aspects of anesthesia care directly administered, managing consultations and communication between surgeons, patients, family members, and other anesthesia staff, evaluating and managing anesthetic and analgesic nerve blocks in patients undergoing surgery or trauma, and implementing multi-modal pain management techniques in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position requires working at multiple locations throughout Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Job Description

• Direct and plan the administration of anesthesia for assigned patients
• Review pre-procedure testing and conduct preoperative evaluations
• Document all aspects of anesthesia care directly administered
• Responsible for consultations and communication between surgeons, patients, family members, and other anesthesia staff
• Evaluate and manage anesthetic and analgesic nerve blocks in patients undergoing surgery or trauma
• Implement multi-modal pain management techniques in the inpatient and outpatient setting

Requirements

• Must have a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) or foreign degree equivalent
• Completion of four years of residency training in Anesthesiology
• Completion of one year of fellowship training in Pain Medicine
• Board Certification or Board Certification Eligibility in Anesthesiology at the time of hire
• Valid unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license or valid unrestricted Pennsylvania osteopathic medical license
• Applicants with any suitable combination of education, training, or experience are acceptable
